    Thumb Print

Noticed last night a Television advert for KIA cars using the Thumb Print symbol, does this mean they are giving the MNDA £1 after each sale If not why not?

    Here you go:

Enjoy the videos and music you love, upload original content, and share it all with friends, family, and the world on YouTube.

Let's add Facebook to the list as well!

Hi Matt and Batty, If the MND Association have registered the thumbs up symbol as a trade mark then they can take KIA and Facebook to the cleaners. I suspect this is something they have neglected to do, and will not be able to do much about it. Some time ago the Association used a slogan "Race For Life", this is now being used by a cancer charity, and it seems like ages since the MND Association used it last.
      Best Wishes to you both,
      CB.

looks like a similar but the 2 Mattj posted are of facebooks own "like" symbol i would say MNDA symbol looks more like the old one that the national lottery used before and that is registered !!!

The KIA thumb print symbol is very similar to ours and is being used for advertising not just a tool like facebook, interestingly quite a few MND patients use KIA Sedona WAV's!

Virgin media have now jumped on the bandwagon by using the thumb print symbol on their internet advertising

Perhaps we should change to a leg up symbol cos' that's what a lot of us need. Regs Bob from sunny Charmouth.
