Snow and Ice in electric wheelchair

Hi guys does anyone have any tips in using there electric wheelchair in the snow and ice, as I want to go out and get my covid vaccine.

Can't you phone ahead and explain the situation. They might come and get you or reschedule.

Not what you want to hear but I would say don’t even think about using your chair in those conditions.

I would definitely phone ahead in case the centre is closed if the conditions are bad.

the cold snap is due to finish in a couple of days if you're prepared to wait that long. If you're determined to go in directly I'd definitely go with someone and choose your route carefully with no nasty slopes. I used a small motorized wheelchair that folds up and fits in the boot when I had mine. Good luck!
