Save time and money on travel insurance for pre-existing medical conditions. Use our comparison tool to compare medical cover from leading providers.

    asks

and when you disclose MND, several more questions about your condition

it accepted me, mainstream insurers didn't bother to ask further questions

I had the same issue but after discussing with the insurance company (we use ‘it’s so easy’) they said to classify as Life limiting rather than terminal, unless of course, the consultant had specifically given a timeframe.
They’ve insured my husband for a few trips since his diagnosis on this basis.

As soon as I put in terminal it was a big NO
Why, it might be classified as a terminal illness, but are all we all going to drop dead in the next 2 months

I got my travel insurance for my last and next holidays from payingtoomuch.com. I still checked with other providers including allclear but stuck with my insurer as they always seem to cover more for less.
My last holiday was to the US and the insurance cost around £300 for two of us with medical conditions, my next holiday is a cruise and the insurance cost £588 for three of us with medical conditions and specific cruise cover.
    Hope that’s helpful.

    It's so easy travel insurance,
the disease is terminal but we don't have terminal diagnosis as everyones prognosis is different.
we're off cruising again in two weeks!

We just gave up on the idea of travel. By the time things opened up for travelling, I didn’t feel able to enjoy the experience.

I didn’t look that hard for insurance but the few I did try were a no. Most likely a Canadian insurance thing.
