    Wet room reno starting today…🫣

Well, my $48 000 main floor bathroom reno starts today, officially. It is supposed to take 5 weeks…wish me luck 🍀

AngieCanuck I have everything crossed for you - here's to an incident-free reno.

And 5 weeks is more than long enough to have new fluffy towels and some nice bodywash for your inagural shower, oh, I also suggest getting a long-handled floor squeegee (doesn't need to be at all fancy) xx

Maria C yep 👍 they made really good progress. They completely demolished the old powder room and dining room area and have already framed and put up drywall. Electrical is all done and the plumber is coming tomorrow. Things are moving along really well 🤞🏻
But, I feel like for $48 000 they better damn we’ll go along perfectly 😂🤣😅.
I’ve been making homemade muffins for the work crew everyday, to try to encourage them.

I’m glad they made good progress. You’re right, for that kind of money things should go great.

Watch how many homemade treats you feeed them towards the end of the project, they may not want to finish up! 😉😂

Claireflo things are going well so far. I had the electrician put in another plug behind the toilet for bio bidet (did some reading in past threads on the forum). They are starting to tile this week 😊

I love my bio bidet. It's so worth it. I had them put plugs inside cabinet drawers so I could keep things plugged in and out of the way. My master bath remodel took nearly two months. They had to do major electrical upgrades to give me the outlets I needed in the master closet and bathroom. Now I have a charging station for all my durable medical equipment. IMO, you can't have enough outlets.

Hope your remodel continues to go off without a hitch.
