    Christmas 2019

    Hi everyone,

I know this time of the year can be particularly difficult for those of us living with MND and for our families.

But I hope we all have as good a Festive Season as possible, without incident, and can enjoy the social element of it, especially for those of us for whom getting out and about is difficult. (Even though I may escape to my bedroom for a breather if things get too loud Maybe I'm finally getting old )

Best wishes to all and thanks for your friendship, it means a lot.

    Love Ellie

Hi Ellie and of course everyone

For me Christmas is the time when I renew the acquaintanceship I have with my family members for the love andsupport they give me with the difficulties I have and plan my support in as far as we can for the following year.

And in return Ellie and everyone your friendship means a lot to me to

My best wishes to all for a peaceful Christmas season and a productive, profitable and positive 2020
    Warmly

Christmas has never been my favourite time of year as an adult ( I don't enjoy the winter weather and short days and long nights etc ). But yesterday I did one of the few things I like about Christmas; - I played my favourite Crimbo song;- fairytale of New York by the Pogues
Merry Christmas and happy new year to you all. Thank you for your support. Let's hope the new year brings significant advances into the treatment or cure of MND.

Hi everyone, this year the Christmas lunch is at ours. I'll help as much as I can whilst Steve does the cooking. My youngest daughter and her 3 children are coming. It's the youngests 4th birthday Christmas day. That was a Christmas to remember. I cooked the meal but had to leave it to take my daughter to the hospital. I was her birth partner that time. It was too late to eat when it was all over. We all had Christmas the following day, Boxing Day. They do Jo Jo's (Joseph) birthday in the morning and Christmas begins after 12. This year it'll be when they get to ours.

I hope that you all have a lovely Christmas without any major problems. I'm looking forward to January when I ought be starting the trial.

            Love to all, Lynne

              Merry Christmas Forum Folks

Thank you all for the tremendous support you have given me through the years. Although my dearest best friend is no longer here your advice, knowledge and wisdom was invaluable to me.

Wishing you all a wonderful Christmas filled with much Love now, and in the coming new year, and also praying the new year will bring with it the cure.

I have always loved Christmas, but this year I have definitely lost my mojo. But I will enjoy it the best I can. I want to wish you all a happy Christmas and peaceful new year, and a big thanks for being here for me.

Wishing everyone a peaceful and joyous Christmas. Whilst I am slow and unsteady I will still rise (or fall if I have a tipple or two) to the challenge I have undertaken for 30 years, by cooking our Christmas meal. My wife does a marvellous job of table decorating and she serves because I am adept at throwing it on the floor.

I do hope that you all have family or friends around you and that we can look forward to better prospects ahead in the fight to find a treatment for this disease.

                  Love,
                  Barry

It took me a few months to find the courage to even visit the MNDA website but when I did I found this wonderful forum. I can truthfully say that this forum has saved my life, particularly one person who held my hand through the darkest times. I want to thank all of you, and that person especially, for the love and support I have been given, it means more than I can say.

I hope you all have the Christmas you would like and send you my very best wishes.
