Anyone fancy a trip to the Circus? - I know I do! But this Leppard's circus experience might not be tame enough for everyone, and it might be rockin' way too loudly for others! (and my request for Leppard to turn the volume down, might have fallen on 'Def' ears LOL)!

Entrance into 'Leppard's Circus Experience' (aka Def Leppard's 'Animal') is free - just click on the link below, sit back and relax, and the performance will begin .....

      http://https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=d5v4IxI_qBY

I hope you enjoyed that circus experience, as much as I did!

Unfortunately, I've had a complaint already! One of the Circus employees, Nellie the Elephant, complained that the music was rockin' so loudly, it gave her a couple of huge-ear-aches!! Yikes Leppard, hopefully Nellie won't sue you for work-related injuries! LOL

... and, luckily for Leppard, Nellie decided to ignore those 'where there's blame, there's a claim!' adverts on TV. However, she did pack her trunk, and then trump-trump-trumped-off - in search of pastures new, in the jungle! .......

      http://https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=_a-m3pH9Dr8

      Love Kayleigh x

      P.S ....
Did Nellie really retire permanently from being a circus performer? - or was it just a "phase"/"mid-life crisis" she was going through?

And, what about her ambition to be the World's most famous performIng Elephant? - was Nellie really happy to step out of the circus spotlight permanently, and leave all that fame to Dumbo?

This 'Silly Circus Saga' is To Be Continued (later today, on this thread) ......including another performance in the Circus Ring, but from a famous popstar this time (I won't ruin the surprise - but perhaps it might be "one for the boys"??? LOL) .......

Roll-up, Roll-up! - take your seats, sit back and relax - the second half of the 'Silly Circus Saga' is about to begin. ....LOL ...

When we last saw Nellie the Elephant, she was enjoying a care-free retirement in the jungle. But since then, I've heard the jungle drums drumming very loudly - with the news that Nellie has got itchy feet again! Apparently, she couldn't get her ambitions as a circus performer out of her head (because, of course, 'Elephants Never Forget'!).

So, Nellie packed her trunk (again!), said goodbye to the jungle, and trump-trump-trumped - her way back to more familiar pastures!

But, there is a twist in this Silly Circus Saga's Tail! '....

And Leppard, if you thought the 'more familiar pastures' meant you - I'm afraid your bubble is about to be burst!

The poptastic news is that Nellie has successfully trumped all the way to 'Circus Pastures, New!' - and she says it's an exciting place, where the music is very popular!

Nellie no longer wants to be a Rockstar's Groupie (sorry Leppard!) - but she is very happy being the BFF of a famous Pop Princess instead (who also happens to be the Ring Mistress at the Circus where Nellie now performs!) LOL....

        http://https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=jKOc572ChFs

Now that today's performances are over, I would like to thank you all for reading my 'Silly Circus Saga'. I hope you enjoyed it and you found my variety of home-grown corn palatable enough! - and, hopefully, you found the performances in the Circus Ring entertaining too! LOL

        Love to everyone
        Kayleigh x

        P.S. ....
        - What did the peanut say to the Elephant?
"Nothing", because peanuts can't talk! LOL

        - Why did the Elephant paint his nuts red?
So that he could hide in cherry trees! LOL

-How do you know when an Elephant is under your bed?
Your nose is touching the ceiling! LOL

        - Why do Elephants paint the bottom of their feet yellow?
So that they can hide in custard! LOL ....
... and have you ever seen an Elephant in your custard? ... No? - well that must work well then!! LOL

          Fabulous, CC. Thank you.

Sorry, Kayleigh, I couldn't manage to read about the circus, but I did enjoy Nellie the Elephant.

            Dear Dina,

Please don't feel like you should say sorry - the 'Silly Circus Saga' was just a bit of silly banter I thought up, while I was watching music videos.

I'm glad you enjoyed the Nellie the Elephant video though. It was fun making up a silly new story to post about Nellie and watching that video cheered me up - it's such a classic from childhood and I found it fun to watch!

Thank you Dina and Sheila. I am very touched by your kind and generous comments. I became a bit tearful when I read them - resulting in my pom-poms becoming rather soggy! LOL

I should be thanking everyone for putting up with my Crackerkayleigh style of humour (which is probably a bit too infantile and over-corny sometimes!)

However, practice makes perfect and so, hopefully, one day my sense of humour will be as refined and as mature as Dina's and TC's is (which is also as cheesy as chunks of vintage cheddar! LOL).

I am encouraged every day by all the generous words of support and advice, in the posts by members of this forum family - and so thank you to everyone - you all deserve 3 cheers, a million times over!

I had to put my pom-poms in the tumble drier (after pommelling some of the water out of them, which I made into a Pomegranate & Tear Pomade).

Unfortunately, the pom-poms have shrunk into the size of pomegranate seeds and are now as hard as pomanders (but not as fragrant!).

Never mind, Ellie's motto to 'adapt and conquer' always inspires me to not give up and to find an alternative way of getting things done.

Also, I'm not a pompous person and so, instead of pom-poms, I am happy to improvise by shaking my tutu instead ...LOL..

                        Hi Kayleigh,

It was not only your dog who was frightened. For the past week I have been jumping to the sound of fireworks resulting in many spills of tea, coffee and even my favourite wine. Having said that the telephone has the same effect. Our tree goes up on the first weekend of December and it will be well out of my way as I couldn’t bear the agro if I knocked it over.

                        Love,
                        Barry

                        PS,
It’s hard to believe that it is only a year since you joined us and whilst I’m sorry you are a member, you brighten up the day.

                          .
We used to put our tree up the weekend before Christmas. Every year I would get frustrated (and annoyed) because I couldn’t put get the lights evenly spaced. In the end, my sons banned me from decorating the tree! Ha ha ha.

Three cheers from me too to our Kayleigh Cracker. It's good to see the jokes and the fab you tube clips.

Our children were always allowed to decorate our tree and when it was up to us they always protested that they did better . Been Christmas shopping online today but I will have totally forgotten what I bought so might have to start again!

                            Keep the jokes coming,

                              Thank you Barry and Debbie.

Although no-one wants to have this diagnosis, a year of being part of this fabulous forum family has been a blessing to me because it has helped me to come to terms with things.

Also, everyone has kindly encouraged me to make the most of every day, which I would find very difficult to do if I didn't have the support of people who have a genuine empathy and understanding of what I am going through.

Thank you to everyone who kindly welcomed me and took me under their wing when I first joined the forum and many thanks to everyone in this forum family for their ongoing support and advice. The bond we all share is invaluable and precious to me - and worth more than anything that money can buy!

... and how expensive are Christmas Trees these days! It always used to be a family treedition for us to get a real tree but it seems more cost effective these days to buy one that is fake-fir!

I do sometimes pine after a real tree though - perhaps I could get more for my money, if I put bells and 2 horniments on it, so that it doubled up as a reindeer! LOL Yes I know it's crackers and a barking idea - but at least I might be able to make a profit, if I can sell my 'reindeer' on to Santa Claus after Christmas!! LOL

                              Love to everyone,
                              Kayleigh x
