    Looking for Suitable Accommodation

    Hi

Going for a viewing for a bungalow to rent, please send good vibes. Hoping to leave the mega stair nightmare behind. Private rent and all that. Closer to supportive family, off road parking and near the sea in Prestatyn in Wales.

It is first come, first get and I am viewing at 2pm. Hope no one else likes it, plus no DHSS discrimination.

Fingers crossed, accommodation is our main issue moving forward.

              HI everyone,

Still looking, stopped trying for Wales. Now looking to Cumbria around Carlisle area. Visited about 2 places, in last 5 days, 280 mile round trip. It is a little like speed dating, have 2 potentials that you have seen but plan the next few so have back up if they fall through. Lot of things already let agreed. 5 years ago we got a choice of 5 in our area and price range. Now there are more renters than places and needing a ground floor bathroom, puts limits. Plus the whole no DHSS/Housing benefit, which is discrimination (2 successful court cases, appear not to have filtered through). Have a Guarantor and offering to pay some rent in advance.

Visited Northumberia as well but Cumbria has better access to Glasgow (parents)

No idea why it turned blue??????

How's it going Dee? What about chalet accommodation? I was just thinking there might be another way of looking for something. Some holiday places are open all year.

Dee my message is unapproved. I was just suggesting perhaps holiday or chalet accommodation might be a thought. Even just temporarily.

Dee what about holiday accommodation. I'm going to send this before I'm unapproved again. Denise xx

                              and

                              Ellie

Sorry for the long absence. Gave up looking for the year about 10 days ago. Too tired and too pissed off.

Could afford everything but getting blanked because of benefits. We are getting UC from today (yeah) plus PIP and carers so will be able to say we are getting X amount as a couple per month. Thomas' ability with stairs is getting scary, we have a commode downstairs and a riser chair we bought.
Have a lovely new mattress (we bought because old one was crap about 6 weeks ago) but the bed is king size and won't fit downstairs.

Been approved for a Bio Bidet but can't put it in this place.

OT really frustrated too. Bloody stairs

Happy 4 month anniversary (from diagnosis) too

                              Hugs Donna
