I'm up for a hug. Actually had a call from surgery and an apology from a doctor. Amazing. so hopefully things might improve. I hope so anyway.

Hugs Denise and all. Great to get an apology from any professionals. My GP service apparently has 8 clinical staff off sick and are only doing emergency xDiagnosed July 2020, ALS bulbar onset. PEG and ventilator (mainly at night), and pretty poor speech, but legs still about functioning!Comment

Needed a volcanic hug. Been away for a fabulous weekend with hubby and youngest daughter. But I am exhausted and chilly now. Time for bed I think! Hugs to all xxDiagnosis confirmed Jan 2022 (age 46) after several years ignored/ misdiagnosed.
Symptoms began in left foot 2017. Now mainly left side, speech and some loss on right side too.
Unable to walk unaided (powerchair user), poor speech, left hand behaves like a drunk toddler but generally positive and determined.Comment
