    P#ssing contest

What's really annoying me is that Covoid kills sometimes, Cancer kills sometimes but MND kills EVERY time. Funny no one notices. Rant over. 😠

What about being born? Everyone born inevitably dies.

The one thing they all have in common is that you don't get to choose any of them. My point was public perception. 😉x

As we keep saying people don't seem to know what it is until a family member gets it. Though thinking about it 1 in 300 people its not exactly a secret. ☹

When I was diagnosed, my wife said that she wished it had been cancer because at least there is hope of a cure.

My mother in-law was diagnosed with metastasised rectal cancer at the same time I had my diagnosis of MND. She has had radiotherapy and now needs to start chemotherapy. Its terminal but treatment was needed to stop a bowel obstruction. The pain and sickness was and will be horrific.

Hi Dennis. Sorry to hear about your mother-in-law. I wasn't intending to make light of a cancer diagnosis, I know enough people who've been through a tough time with cancer.
