Consider this: The first recipient of the vaccine is an 82 year old on dialysis. They are on dialysis because they are not deemed worthy of a transplant. Can anyone see where I'm going with this? πx

Yes. I know this is not what everyone wants to hear but the kids, front line workers and members of the population that we need to keep us all going. I'd give up mine for someone else. I'm 65 perhaps not as healthy as I could be but I'd give mine to some more deserving.when i can think of something profound i will update this.

Hi,, itβs guilt, from the Government and NHS, during the first wave anybody with serious illnesses, the old and infirm were ignored, death rates soared as they had little or no support so now they have done a complete 180, pity the government are still ignoring teachers, are these not front line workers as well, but itβs okay the little yellow box drawn on the floor will protect them.

Interesting discussion, matthew55 . My wife thinks they have got the priority wrong and should be vaccinating teachers and other front line workers first, the ones that the economy and society depends on, and shielding the vulnerable until later. Whereas, I agree with the scientists on the vaccination panel. Start with those most likely to die or need ICU.Each day is made easier with a bit of humour.

Government have reclassified neurological illness as underlying health conditions, unless you have been put on the CEV list
did you get text/letter on last review to tell how to shield , then you are on the CEV listAs long as thereβs golf and beer Iβm happy
