Maybe take a look at some videos on YouTube and see how people use it, then you'll get an idea of what it can do - just type 'iPad voice control' into YouTube's search bar and lots of videos come up, it's the same for iPhones.

    Love Ellie.
Thank you Ellie, I’ll have a look x

Janette, on my Chromebook and Android tablet, if I open SpeechAssistant and use the onscreen keyboard there is an option that allows you to write on the screen with your finger and it converts it to text that the program will then speak for you. I'd do a screenshot if I could figure out how.

Hello everybody, my name is Dennis. I am 46 years old and have three children aged five, 12 and 14. From 2014 until 2020 I worked night shift five nights a week. My job entailed a fair bit of physical activity. A typical shift would require me to carry equipment, walking down normally 120 stairs then walking a few miles on

DJW Have you got MND or are you a carer? I ask because you haven't put a diagnosed date on your profile?

I think we all take things for granted and don’t appreciate what we have until we no longer have it. I still have my voice, but am losing the ability to use a key board even on the iPad, and writing is nearly impossible.

I use a boogie board. I find it easier than a computer.
