I was awake at 2, 3ish. Made hot chocolate and finally went back to sleep. I usually wake up about 6 and get up. First cuppa tea. Dull misty morning here. 😊

We don't get a lot of tourists here. Did notice more foreign vehicles about. Now we are off the green list I don't know what will happen. Everyone thought this was the start of summer holidays abroad only to see it collapse. It's such a shame.

I can’t join early morning club as don’t get up until 8.30-9.I wake early then usually had enough of the NIV so that gets removed and I snuggle down for a few more hours.

It’s beautiful sunshine again this morning.Yesterday evening treated us to The Red Arrows flying over as air show near by at Ragley Hall In Warwickshire.Sky was full of hot air balloons.
Getting showered and dressed with assistance seems to take ages unlike my working days when I jumped out of bed and could get going for the day in no time.

Today I need to find clothes that fit as lost a lot of weight, my sun hat and cream and await the newspaper to arrive before heading to the garden.No rush required.

Please can I apply to join the late ⏰ waking club. 💤 😴 However awake i am in the night I am always comfortable for a morning snooze.

When I was working I would be out of the house for 7 30 ( often with toast in hand ) Now it takes me hours to be up showered and ready.

I have asked hubby to wake me earlier but he says I look too peaceful to disturb... I think its him that likes the peace.!
