Good morning everyone. Thank goodness for a decent nights sleep, the first for a couple of weeks. Only one loo break in the night and no breathing panics yay!
Diagnosed 18th May 2021 with sporadic ALS. Limb onset. Terrified of not being able to breathe easily.
Yay Rosemary ! Hullo everyone. Today is exactly a year since I moved into this bungalow, and hopefully they will finish my adaptations today by completely taking up my bedroom floor and getting it level with the passageway. My friend who was going to sort the mess of insulation in the loft before adaptations but who put it off until now in case the adaptations interfered further, has been up and found that they have squashed the insulation down instead of putting aside, and have left bags of rubbish including drinking bottles of pee! Just because they thought they could get away with it presumably xx
Diagnosed July 2020, ALS bulbar onset. PEG and ventilator (mainly at night), and pretty poor speech, but legs still about functioning!
I made the efforts to stay in bed up to 9 as felt really tired. Very unusual for me, woke as usual crack of dawn and several times later but fought it. Showered and dressed (mostly independently again) and sitting on my RR chair.
Keno I hope that youβve enjoyed your coffee. Have a good day x
Yes Linda, Thursday here. OT coming this afternoon to explain hoisting to Steve xx
Rosemary, great that you had a good night sleep xx
Heather what animals you had in, disgusting. Good luck for it all getting sorted xx
ALS diagnosed November 2017, limb onset. For the 4 yrs previously I was losing my balance.
I'm staying positive and taking each day as it comes.
Heather R terrible that workmen felt that was acceptableπ‘
Have you bought or have you been provided a bungalow? Getting adaptations completed should be straightforward however these threads show that's often not the case. Glad to hear you're getting there π
