I often wake very early but if before 6 bed go to the loo, take 2 paracetamol if I can (if 4 hours or more since the last) and go back to bed to try get another hour of sleep. This seldom works but worth a try. I’m very rarely in bed later than 7.20 and quite often 6.20/6.30. Lynne

I'm not sure how late you can be to be an early bird member? Has anyone drawn up a rule book? I'm on my first cup of tea. πŸ™„

Woke 7.20 this morning, feel better than yesterday (only had 5 hours sleep). No opportunity for breakfast yet as Steve’s still asleep. Lynne

I’m not a member however I felt like getting up before my normal time. Mum’s bungalow is overlooking the sea so I was woken up at 4am by the sound of seagulls screeching. Drifted back to sleep only to wake again because a bee had come in through the open window and it was trapped between the glass and the blinds. After making a pig’s ear of cords on the blinds I eventually released the bee. Having been up for hours I am now wondering what to do with the rest of the day.
I’m going to do this even if it kills me!

Sounds like Barry would be having a lovely relaxing time if it wasn't for the wildlife 😊

how about getting a paper and putting your feet up? Go and watch the sea get some fresh air? Give your mum a hug anda kiss.

That’s smashing Mathew. It’s what I did lots of times in the middle of the night when I couldn’t get comfy in bed. Since my new adjustable bed it’s not so bad but not perfect. Love Lynne x
