Woohoo Heather! No more sticking out feet.

Is the mattress extra long too or have you an insert to go with your old mattress? xx

Morning all. I'm normally struggling to be awake by 08:30 but today, I woke up at 06:30! Cool sunny start to the day here ๐ŸŒž

Heather R hope you had a good night's sleep in your new bed?

Morning everyone. No sun here just dull and grey.

Heather Ris obviously still snoring in her new bed. ๐Ÿ™‚

Friday morning is a rush, trying to shower and dress and coffee before a weekly zoom at 8, often late. Bed felt luxury being able to stretch out my legs. But had to stretch to push up on the end of the bed to stop myself sliding downward, needing to be on a slope for my breathing. Doesnโ€™t anyone else have this problem? Maybe most people donโ€™t have leg muscle strength when their lungs are so weak???. Donโ€™t know if the end of the new bed looks any sturdier than before! X
Diagnosed July 2020, ALS bulbar onset. PEG and ventilator (mainly at night), and pretty poor speech, but legs still about functioning!

Heather R if you use the knee break when you have the head up, it should stop you sliding down the bed.
            Glad if felt comfortable.

Stephen always manages to slide down the bed no matter what's in the way. I think he has a non-stick bum. ๐ŸŒ๐Ÿ‘

Tabbycat thanks yes I am okay when knee break is up (never knew it was called that!) The trouble comes because I like to sleep on my side at night, but still need a bit of a slope. And my legs donโ€™t like the mound, if you see what I mean, so I put it down.

Glorious ๐ŸŒž๐ŸŒž๐ŸŒž day with me. Still no grass for horses so they're eating winter hay, meaning come winter, between paying for scarce hay and energy bills, I may be draped in a hide, eating dubious lasagne ๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿ˜
