I woke at dark o'clock shivering 🥶🥶! Already organised an extra blanket for tonight so I won't be an Early Bird again. Speaking of birds, they've been very busy these last few mornings.

Back when I was normal I always slept in my birthday suit as I got very hot in the night. Now I sleep fully clothed. Got to love MND/ASL! 😉😁🤗😍xx

In typical Ellie fashion, I overcompensated and woke up sweating like a boxer 🙄🤦♀️ I stayed awake for a while but my giant 🦛 yawns dislodged my NIV mask, sounding an alarm and my hubby appeared to fix the mask and remove offending extra blanket 👍

That was 2am, I woke at 8am, so a good night. Thanks for asking Lynne 🤗😘

A Morning Offering by John O'Donohue

I bless the night that nourished my heart
To set the ghosts of longing free
Into the flow and figure of dream
That went to harvest from the dark
Bread for the hunger no one sees.

All that is eternal in me
Welcomes the wonder of this day,
The field of brightness it creates
Offering time for each thing
