    Strange sensation

    Good morning all ,
I have just had the strangest sensation.
Sitting in my chair feet up as per usual, I started to feel like I was floating, not quite out of body, but weird none the less.

Anyone else had these weird sensations?

Yesterday evening I was suddenly very hot above my waist and my head was soaked in sweat. I thought I was going to be sick and then my bowels exploded. Sitting on the loo with a bucket Infront of me calmed me down and my suction machine pulled very thick white plegm out of the back of my throat and nose. Happy Days! πŸ˜πŸ€—πŸ˜˜πŸ˜Xx

Gwynie that does sound odd. I hate to say this but might you have fallen asleep? That's a very strange thing to happen. I'd be sitting there wondering if it would happen again. 😚

Denise, I was wide awake and playing on my phone. It happened again when I was telling my partner.
My son-in-law said he used to get it when he was on strong meds, after breaking his back.

Matthew you poor thing. Was it sun stroke? I hope you are feeling better. 😚

gwynie could it be looking down at you phone. Puts a strain on your neck which could make you feel light headed. Bit of a worry though. If it happens again I think I'd go and see a doctor. 😚

Gwynie I'll have whatever you're having please πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

Seriously though, it may have been due to low blood sugar, low blood pressure, a breathing issue, heart issue, amongst others - if it happens again, tell your GP.

                Love Ellie.

matthew55 That sounds horrible - the fear of vomiting with our bulbar issues is awful, it's my worst nightmare.

I wonder if it was something you 'ate', not saying anything about your hygiene, but everything spoils quickly in the heat. The thick mucus certainly might have caused nausea and vomiting but, if it's not in your stomach, could it affect the bowels? I'm just thinking aloud.

                    How are you today? xx

Sounds like food poisoning. Perhaps it's something you've put in your tube? You are keeping it clean if it's been warm? 😚

Just another thought matthew55 , how long ago was your 2nd AZ jab? I know it was recent enough, was it less than 2 weeks ago? xx

What I think it was is too many drugs and an hour later than I ever take them. I'm really looking forward to the nurse coming back. πŸ‘πŸ€—πŸ˜πŸ˜˜xx
