Erm interesting...............there are so many new terms of gender these days who on earth understands them..........the only difference I can see it making to anyone or anything is that folks darn't say what they mean any longer.............so will keep their traps shut..........gone is our free speech for fear the woke police turn up............I couldn't face being banged up at my time of life, they'd put me in Newhall OMG...............would they allow me to take Albert with me?

"Being very pretentious about social care issues" eg ladies supposed to say "chest feeding" rather than "breastfeeding" no longer supposed to say "Mother" but the "Parent who gave birth" I could go on............

the world has gone mad (my opinion!)

sue barker has lost her job, after 24 years, on question of sport because they want to be more diverse. so if anyone out there looks like chewbacca you might get her old job.

Stupid! Iโ€™m still mother to my four kids. Yes, โ€˜kids.' That was what everyone said and continues to say where I was brought up and Iโ€™m not about to change. The term breastfeeding is also used by every person that I know in appropriate circumstances. Saying chest feeding is ridiculous. Who comes up with this tripe? Lynne

men can get breast cancer. so i take it men have breasts. so whats wrong with breast feeding. i never used my chest to feed my kids. it was called breast feeding. how are we suppose to define parts of our body? where does our chest start and where does it end?

we are going backwards not forwards

Honestly you Old Fogeys ๐Ÿ˜, take a walk through a secondary school and you'll see that the vast majority of teens couldn't care less who's what. It's as normal to be a 'they' as it is to be a 'she' or 'he', nobody cares, nobody even asks any questions - you are who you are, gender just doesn't come into the equation now.

My kids' school has a Pride Week, not only for pupils, but for staff too.

In years to come, the 'gender issue' will be the same as those historical societal questions once asked; what's this equal pay for women about or why do we need universal suffrage - it's all about equality...

I left primary teaching 4 years ago after teaching since I was 21. I saw many changes in 30 years. ( I'm giving my age !)

The smaller children are oblivious to gender and I often had children in my class with two mums or two dads... The children didn't care but some parents commented! The texts we use now are all gender neutral and the children are encouraged to dress as they chose. I always hoped they would carry their tolerance throughout their lives .

Most of us are probably woke without realising.
