      OK, has anyone read Shuggie Bain by Douglas Stuart? If not, and if it can be borrowed, that's my first suggestion - I have a feeling it could be a long process 😏 xx

            So I'm in.....just wait to see if we all can access somehowπŸ‘
            Initial diagnosis 7-4-2021 'suspected MND' confirmed by 2nd opinion 4th June 2021 ALS. Began with R foot limp and lots of falls. NIV overnight. Generally weak. Mostly terrified.​​​​​​

                I use Borrow Box which links to my local library so free. I use Kindle and Audible too but that's a subscription. Not sure where else?

                        Denise, I'm sure you can multi task...eg pole dancing and listening to a book ( whilst caring for Stephen!) No pressure.🀣

                          OK, I must really like you Denise!! If you can't get Shuggie Bain...

                          After much searching through my Wishlist, I think I found a book we can all access - Pachinko, by Min Jin Lee.

                          It's on Audible, in many libraries, free on Kindle for Prime members (Kindle App is free too) and it's on YouTube (in 2 parts)

                          What does everyone think? It's a New York Times Bestseller and I planned to listen to it as it has very good reviews. xx
