Me too, the more ferocious, the better. I've not had any here, rained on our yellow grass this morning, but no thunderstorm - not really complaining, given how some folk were flooded out and lost their lives in recent weeks...
On holiday in Indonesia, lightning struck very close to where I was standing and the sensation I felt in my body was bizarre/amazing/terrifying π₯΄βDiagnosed 03/2007. Sporadic Definite ALS/MND Spinal (hand) Onset.
Eye gaze user - No functional limbs - No speech - Feeding tube - Overnight NIV.

I've always loved a storm...as a child in North Wales I would go down to the beach in a storm....the wildness of the sea was fascinating....probably very dangerous but hey ho π©π©β‘β‘ββInitial diagnosis 7-4-2021 'suspected MND' confirmed by 2nd opinion 4th June 2021 ALS. Began with R foot limp and lots of falls. NIV overnight. Generally weak. Mostly terrified.ββββββComment

Itβs thundered and rained heavy here in Radcliffe this afternoon. Cooler too as to be expected, LynneALS diagnosed November 2017, limb onset. For the 4 yrs previously I was losing my balance.
I'm staying positive and taking each day as it comes.Comment
