    A day off !

As Stuart was helping me get showered and ready for bed last night I said I was fed up having MND and wanted a day off. He laughed and said that would be awful to have just one day off and then go back to having it the next day.

I don't agree... I told him about all the things I'd do on my day off. I miss walking with him and holding his hand, amongst millions of other things! I know I'm lucky, however as there's lots I still can do which i know others can't. XxxπŸ˜˜πŸ€—

Just picking up on your post……you mentioned it would be lovely to feel well.
I usually feel unwell most days in various ways.I plan for example to go out and then I feel overwhelmed with tiredness or feel nauseous.

I never feel physically strong. It’s harder to turn over in bed, becoming more stooped etc.
I watch couples out walking and recall the lovely times we had on walking holidays etc.I do appreciate being able to get outdoors in the wheelchair.

It takes half hour to get ready to go out…I need assistance to get coat and shoes on.Steve packs bag with essentials, ie water, wet wipes, radar key , etc. Then he loads me in to back of wheelchair access car.Check out pre journey where disabled loos are.

Its all worth it to get a change of scene but usually tired by time I get back home.We will go out today and it certainly enhances my mood.

          Have a good day xxx

Ok I'd like a day off but you've made me feel guilty. Ok if I ever do get to have a day off can you all make a list and I will do my best to fit everything in. 😘
