Dear Stevedp,
TUDCA wouldn’t be prescribed for MND at this time as it has not been approved for use for MND. It is currently in a phase 3 trial for MND with the top-line results expected to be announced at the end of 2023.
Kind regards

Stevedp You could certainly ask your GP or Neurologist to prescribe sodium phenylbutyrate (3g per day) - the worst they can say is No. Explain why you want it.
It is available to buy from the (reputable) Social Medwork, but at a hefty price.
Unfortunately Birmingham isn't a trial centre for the upcoming trial, but IDK if you could enquire about enrolling in the trial in King's College London, Sheffield or Liverpool, if you fulfill the eligibility criteria. xxDiagnosed 03/2007. Sporadic Definite ALS/MND Spinal (hand) Onset.
Eye gaze user - No functional limbs - No speech - Feeding tube - Overnight NIV.
