Hi all, Can anyone recommend a good private neurologist who specialises MND/MMN please? London, South East areas. I'm after a second opinion, also things to be explained to me. My temporary neurologist isn't returning my calls, gp refusing to help. Hopefully I'll get more help with a private neurologist.

You are entitled to a second opinion if you are not satisfied with the service your temporary neurologist is providing. Your GP should make that referral for you.
You will need a referral letter from your GP or your current neurologist to enable a private appointment to be given to you.
There are several NHS specialist neurologists in the London area, these are based within the MND Clinics at Kings College London, The National Hospital for Neurology in Queen Square, London and also Barts and the London. See link below for further details on these clinics. Not all of them offer private appointments so you will need to contact the clinics to ask if they do.
