Rise and recline chair - replacement parts

    HI all,

I wondered if anyone can help? My husband has MND and was gifted a rise and recline chair from the MNDA a few years ago which has been a god send. My question is as we've had the chair a while the cushions are starting to get worn, I'll like to replace, but have been on websites and can't see the offer replacements, just new chairs which we don't need.

    has anyone else done this?

    THanks

Would his OT organise a pressure relief cushion? I know it sits on top of the seat cushion itself and it won't be the same colour, but it might kill two birds with the one stone, so to speak. Many of us sit on such cushions for comfort anyway.

Thanks Ellie - that's actually helped answer another question about pressure relief cushion and how I get one when needed - thanks.

It was more the cushions/pads at the back where his back and neck rest. he is not in need of anything different just yet, but the pads are getting warn away and I didn't want it to become ripped or an infection control issue -so was just looking to see if I could replace them.

      Thanks
      Dx

You should be able to buy those, D, either from a furniture place or from that megastore in the clouds! Or maybe Etsy?

My chair manufacturer, for example, sells head and neck cushions (weighted at the back) and material (fat chance it'd be ever be used in my house 😂)

I'd still ask the OT who might have back, wing and head cushions/supports - he might be in luck...
