Ah, that's great, Lynda.
My own 2 kids have been giving me meds & food through my tube since they were knee high to a grasshopper so, at 19 & 17, they are pros!
They grew up with it though, so that's probably easier than being introduced to a PEG tube at 17 - your son is right to be proud of himself.
Love Ellie.

Aw Jeanette, that is wonderful. Good on your grandson. Our son is 17 Ellie but his twin sister wasn’t up for it! They are all different. X

My daughters are a bit squeamish when I mention or try to show them how to do it but my 8 yr old grandson said I could show him, he wasn’t phased at all 😊 x

Welcome to the Forum, Lynda.
I don't know how old your son is but it's great he is involved in your husband's care - it makes the PEG a lot less scary once people get to know it.
Love Ellie.
