    My beautiful Elaine has goneā€¦.

    Hello Folks

    My beautiful partner Elaine has died after a truly courageous battle against this most cruel of diseases. Given 2 years maximum after diagnosis she lived for 5, defying all medical expectations and never once complainingā€¦.I will miss her terribly. šŸ’”šŸ’”

    Iā€™m planning Elaineā€™s funeral and would like to include a reading or poem about courage and bravery against all the odds. I wonder if anyone had any suggestions?

        Bulbar onset diagnosed Nov 21. No speech but limbs ok so far.

          Diagnosed July 2020, ALS bulbar onset. PEG and ventilator (mainly at night), and pretty poor speech, but legs still about functioning!
