    Too poorly for the hospice.

Long story short, the hospice have decided Chris is too much work and don't want to admit him.
How fantastic is that, his care plan is three weeks at home then one in the hospice.
I could see the writing on the wall but all the same!
    Back to the drawing board.

😩 Bloody marvellous... Is it down to staffing levels?

Where does that leave Chris and you for that 4th week now? xx

It's one of the reasons Ellie plus they said he's taking a bed one of their "charity patients" can use.
The NHS do pay them for the respite though.
Anyhow they came up with this care plan, I'm just so sorry they want to abandon it.

Music man's wife not sure if it would make any difference, but would contact with your local MP get them to re-look at their decision? It seems a terrible decision! X

So sorry to hear this. Frankly find it outrageous but given my awful care sadly not unexpected. What happened to people going above and beyond just because they care...
Diagnosis confirmed as atypical ALS Jan 2022 (age 46) after several years misdiagnosed.

Symptoms began in left foot 2017. Now widespread. Powerchair user, useless left arm and clumsy right hand but generally positive!

I don't understand this either. The rationale of being too poorly for a hospice is ludicrous. Am so sorry to read this. X
