I think I understand that quote. Acceptance of it, not dwelling on it, not running away from it (you can't outrun it, but you can have a bluddy good try!) or, not brooding on it, it just is.
Having seen some poorly relatives pass on, it is all of us being part of that cycle of life, not avoiding it/denying it. Make peace with it, set your 'life in order', and because you are prepared, you can then forget about it. Enjoy living all the more the best way that you can.
Yet in the end, welcoming it as a friend, who is waiting at your own 'reserved' table...
Or am I getting too deep here? Maybe....Carer for Dad - MND (ALS) 22/4/21 and Mum Alzheimers 26/5/21.

We are all going to end. We can't go on forever. Some will have a warning and some won't. As I get older I'm more aware of it. As my husband's condition gets worse it becomes closer. Not much point in dwelling on it or preparing for it because it could arrive at any moment. The virus has shown us that.

Hi Sue, I never had a BIG sister, until now that is!
I find this a beautiful song and I guess we have to enjoy as much as possible. As BIG sis says, love helps us through.
