    Hi Graham,

Having read the lyrics I researched your music hero and he certainly had a way with words. Whilst he died early aged 60, his lifestyle would appear to be a contributing factor. Thank you for enriching my music knowledge.

    Love,
    Barry

I like your style Graham and a fabulous idea about having a sing-a-long - and your lyrics were great to get the party started!

My favourite sing-a-long (and its especially good for an all-night rave because, as you will see, it doesn't include a curfew):-

Even if you didn't agree with the lyrics, I hope you enjoyed the purrrfect feline beat!

    hi barry, tc, kitty,

    The flat is evil
    Welcome, living leg-end
I was walking down the street
I saw the poster at the top
I was all on one leg
    The streets were flagged
And the poster at the top of street said
    "Do you work hard?"
I was only on one leg
    The road hadn't been fixed
I had to be in for half six
I was only on one leg
My blue eyelids were not active
There was a curfew at half nine
    For my kids
There was a poster at the top of the street
    Encapsulated in plastic
    It had a blind man
So I said "blind man, have mercy on me"
I said "blind man, have mercy on me"
The flat is evil and full of cavalry and Calvary
    And Calvary and cavalry
    "Do you work hard?"
It said, "I am from Hebden Bridge
Somebody said to me "I can't understand a word you said"

    Said: "99% of non-smokers die"
    Do you work hard?
    Do you work hard?
I was walking down the street
And saw a picture of a blind man
    The flat is evil
    Of core, cavalry and Calvary
    Of core
Blind man, have mercy on me
Said, blind man, have mercy on me
I am looking at my feet
    My blues eyes get ID'd
My curfew was due half eight
    Now it's half past six
    My curfew is at nine-thirty
    I said "do you?"
Blind man, have mercy on me!
Blind man, have mercy on me!
Blind man, have mercy on me!
    I'm on one leg
    My eyes can't get fixed
    And my kids
    Can't blue eyes get fixed?
Blind man, have mercy on me!
Blind man, have mercy on me!

kitty, some impenetrable lyrics for u 2 sing along to from my late hero. went many gigs of his. he had big C but never stopped working. must b luv. I gotta work hard. bye 4 now. lots of luv, G

I am taking this golden opportunity,
to let you know Barry & TC,
& all in this forum family,
that my sixth sense tells me,
the music Graham spins for us to see,
    on music threads occasionally,
might not tell the whole story?

I hope you golden Graham will forgive me,
(KittyKayleigh) for being a bit cheeky,
and using this thread you created recently,
to spin a golden oldie or three.
They are favourites of mine (certainly),
that I wish to dedicate to you (sincerely),
& my female intuition tells me ...

    - Your strength of spirit is stronger than Metallica's and even as strong as tungsten - and you have a heart of gold that is even more golden than Mr Tate's and My Lyle's syrup (and they each wear one, apparently?? LOL)....

... and you might be more of a head-banger than a pirouetter, but you are inspirational in the way you never stop fighting and always believe in your soul:-

    http://https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=ay

    - Your agile mind is always kept busy, with new dreams and ideas bouncing around inside your head.

.. and you might prefer music that sounds more like 'Manic Mondays', rather than singing in a softer tune, but once you have the seed of a new good idea planted, you sprint with it (without letting any negativity from anyone get in your way!) ....

    http://https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=HZFJVAaSOrE

    - You might be a 'silver surfer'?? but you always get your messages across loud and clear!!

... and you might not have all the abilities of a grease monkey, but you are supreme in going with technology as fast as lightning, always systematic in disregarding the c**p to find the honest truth .....

I hope you didn't mind pawsing your busy schedule to tune into some of my favourite golden oldies!

    Love

You might say I have 'class' Graham, but I am no aristocat!

I tried to ignore MND but it has no respect for my felines ... however, becoming a member of this forum has helped me to face up to it.

I can categorically say that you and others here have proven it's possible to maintain a sense of humour and get our messages across loud and clear - without sounding like nonsense (although some of the musical notes you post are not easy to decipher! LOL) and without even speaking one word.

You are golden Graham! - and I have sensed a wealth of other top-class hearts of gold in this forum family too!

    Take care.

    Love

Good to hear about your MND slowing down so much Graham.

In my case, its progressing steadily. Hopefully I will still be here for another Christmas...I'm lining up some festive banter and seasonal songs to entertain/annoy forum members with! LOL. (and, of course, I'm lucky that I have got TC to keep me out of mischief and make me paws thought if my posts are getting too catty! LOL)

Hopefully you will still have time to keep in touch with us, even though you are very busy. Also, please don't forget to keep posting more of your music (that TC is so fond of! LOL).

    Take care.

    Love
