I too am so sorry to hear of Terry's passing. He was a great help to me when Ed was diagnosed and went out of his way to support both Ed and myself. My condolences are sent to his family. Some people come into your life for one reason or another. Terry will leave another huge gap in my life...

Have only just seen this - condolences to Terry's family and friends. Terry always seemed an integral part of this forum and he will be sorely missed.

Can we please rewind 2020 and start again?

It's heartbreaking to hear about the loss of Terry.

Terry has been an inspiration to so many families affected by MND over the years with his positivity and sound advice. He was always one of the first to warmly welcome new members to the forum and he became my online, forum" friend " because he noticed I didn't have any.

Such a wonderful, kind , brave and funny man. We are going to miss him so much although I take comfort that he was peaceful with Linda holding his hand.

    RIP Terry
    Love Debbie xxx

Truly awful news about the passing of Terry.

Terry was of a vintage stock. He was kind, empathetic and had good banter.

Terry held this forum together singlehandedly.

    Oh no!

That's terrible heartbreaking news. But thank you for letting us know Richard.

May I ask, when you say because of coronavirus, is that because of general restrictions or is Terry affected?

    Please give him my love.

    Doug

Hi everyone. This is a message from Terry’s Grandad. (I am Richard who has been Terry’s friend for about 6 years).
I have to let you know that Terry is now in St Elizabeth Hospice in Ipswich and is really extremely unwell.
His wife, Linda is staying there with him and it is likely that he just might not survive. I’m in regular contact with them both but, sadly, because of Coronavirus, I’m unable to visit him.
    I’ll keep you all updated.

    Hi Terry,

When I went out today it was raining cats and dogs.

I saw Thomas O'Malley and he reminded me of your cheerful smile and charming personality.

This Tom Cat could be related to Top Cat?? ... but he's not as cool or as tip-top as TC of course!

PS. And who let the dogs out?? ...LOL...

    Hi Terry,

A shame the bee arrived a bit beflated but perhaps the bee balloon had let out some laughing gas to make you chuckle!

I bet those cup cakes went down very nicely! - and knowing you TC, probably with a coffee brought in by your lovely wife or Grandad from the nearest Costa's!

I don't think I've ever been able to dance as good as Garfield but was quite good at line dancing .. LOL..

Sorry to hear your back is still painful. Not sure what to suggest apart from your GP prescribing stronger painkillers, if you've not tried some already.

Physiotherapy funded by the NHS for MND patients seems to be non existant or perhaps its a postcode lottery?

    Take care.

    Love
