Do you mean you're thinking of renting a full-lift hoist or a sit-to-stand hoist for your holiday accommodation?

Yes, they do work well as long as you've the right hoist and sling and the person/people operating it knows what they are doing.

Re typing: perhaps you should get the ball rolling and get an appointment with the Assisitive Technology people to explore options available in making PC use easier?
