don't think it's just NE, there will be little pockets all over the country, I live in the West, a unitary authority area with it's own CHC and I will potentially have to rely on MNDA and the Local hospice for support, whereas the county has it own CHC which has MND support, as does the next county which is only 10 miles away.
Guess it all down to the numbers as to where the money goes.
Glad I have a very proactive MNDA support group to help.

If you don’t want to watch the whole program then the story about Stephan is 18 minutes in. Having watched the program I was left with the feeling that CHC is a postcode lottery and the north west of England isn’t even in the draw.

Yes and the patient featured had a 6 month hospital stay following a trache whilst waiting for his care package to be sorted.
