Hi All,
I've had a lung function test beginning of January this year and I failed. Apparently 30% of my diagram is affected by ALS.
I had an overnight assessment and apparently when I was in deep sleep my oxygen level dropped under 90% so about 20% of the whole night.
So they suggested I start using the over over night ventilator but they didn't push for it as they said is not too bad atm.
And also they could see me that I was not ready.
I know that everyone is affected differently and at different rates but wondered how soon after your diagnosis did you have to use over night venitilator?
Also I have had two falls inside the house the last two weeks. My knees just give in and I fall. I am sore all over but the hardest bit is the not being able to get up. I had to crawl from the hallway to the living room and cling to the sofa and after few attempts I did it.
I don't understand why though as after the falls I am able to walk as per usual with difficulties but able to walk.
Any ideas? xx
