    Thank you all on this forum for your help and support. Sadly, Douglas died this morning at 9.30. In the end, it was very quick and very peaceful, he effectively died in his sleep.

    Sorry to hear this, Chrissie;

    You and Douglas have been through such a rough joinery. It is nice to hear that he passed peacefully.

    Thoughts are with you and your family etc.

    Hugs, Terry

        I am truly sorry for your loss, Chrissie.

        Douglas managed his last few days as he wanted to, which is testament to his character. He would not have wanted to linger on and you granted him his wish to die peacefully at home, which can't have been easy. He was fortunate to have you love him.

        I wish you much strength over the coming weeks and months.

        RIP Douglas.

        Heartfelt condolences,
        Love Ellie.

            So sorry Chrissie.

            Please accept my condolences and a hug.

            As Ellie said, you arranged things as he wanted. Nobody could have done more.

                Sorry to hear this Chrisse and please accept my condolences. The one comfort you can take is that you carried out Douglas’s wishes and he was at home with you.

                      Good morning Christie. I’m very sorry and sad to hear of Douglas’s passing but it certainly must be some comfort that he died peacefully in his sleep. You will be in my thoughts at this trying time. Hugs, Lynne x
