    Great news Trevor x

      Its going to be great for sending the washing basket up and down too. Only joking! That's not allowed. It says so in the instruction booklet.
      Mind you, when I used to do "dog walking" for a friend I often bumped into an elderly gentleman with his elderly cocker spaniel. He told me that he bought by the lift to help him when had both knees replaced. Once he recovered he used the lift to help the little dog up and downstairs on his lap. Probability not too sensible but it worked for them.
      Anyhow. I wish you could have all seen Trevor's face on his first trip. It was a picture!

          OK Jane. I think it has to be done but I may need a fast shutter speed!

            I have mentioned before that although the care provided by the nHS is excellent, the admin is poor. Here is another example. I have been waiting two months for a suction machine. It was ordered through the district nurses and when they were asked what has happened they found the email from my specialist nurse had been lost, so we was waiting for something which had never been ordered. Yesterday two arrived from two different sources. Today I have had a letter from the hospital saying that the physio appointment booked yesterday has been cancelled and another date booked and so it goes on.

                        Terry:

                        Wales were up 10-0 and in control. England took forward control and won. George Ford at flyhalf gives them something they lacked last year. He was deservedly man of the match. But early days. The Welsh were not far off.

                          thank you, Charles, For a fair while, I thought we had the winning hand! And, for John, when England play anyone other than Wales, I am waving the flag, but my Welsh heritage comes first!

                            Hi Marieline;

                            I took your advice and now I'm in trouble. I put some oil on my body and thinking that your idea of getting air to the body I went out side. The trouble was that I'm staying in the hospice for a week and i had taken most of my clothes off, (you're idea).

                            Anyway the men in white coats came out with a blanket and forced me in. I am now handcuffed to a bed.

                            It's not bad, Terry
