    Wishing you all well

    Hi All,
Some on this forum may remember me... But it seems "they" have now decided it's not looking like I have MND.
Ive been struggling for what seems like years with different consultants etc and it seems like what the new prognosis is..FND(Functional Nerve Disorder)?? which I had never heard off.
Plus they say I still have FTD Dementia.
I just wanted to say thank you to all the people on the forum I've spoken to Terry,Ellie,Deb.
Keep positive and stay safe at this unusual times.
    Love Chebs xxx
ps Will check you out in the future

Oh, thank you so much for checking in - it's nice to get an update from a nonmember member, so to speak!

Yes, FND is a thing and treatable, with the right help. I saw it featured on BBC's 'Hospital' so went looking for that episode. It's not on the iPlayer, but I found it on YouTube, can't verify its quality but it might be useful. (it's not all about FND, so you might skip irrelevant bits)

I'm truly sorry for the FTD diagnosis - that's a hard one, so I hope you'll get good support.

I wish you all the best.

    Stay safe.

    Love Ellie.

          Hi Chebs,

Lovely to hear from you and thank you for your update. I really hope you're getting the treatment and help that you need. It's good you've got a diagnosis now on what has been a long road.

          Take care ,
          Love Debbie x
