I've completed this wth richard too .voice not great but we managed.....its annoying as I have videos of me speaking normally but they dont think they are enough to use so my current slurry tone has to do..

I also just completed 1500 phrases voluntarily.. took weeks for a google project for voice recognition ...again richard helped me do this...

Hi. We have speech and language therapist coming in two weeks time I will mention this to her. My husband is able to speak at present but struggles at times. Thanks for your time to put this on here.

    Voicebanking

I have read many times in various posts advice from people to do voicebanking before it's too late.
Well I took notice, not something I'm known for, arranged it and did it with the wonderful, patient Richard who is a speech and language therapist who works part time for the MND Association.
The MND Association will even lend you the correct headphones if you don't have them. As Richard is a computer wizard he takes over your computer from afar and does nearly everything for you. (Except speaking of course).
You are required to speak about 350 different phrases so i did it in two sessions as it is a bit much to do in one. Richard will do it in as many sessions as you need.
Once completed it sits on your computer until such time as you need it.
My voice is fine at the moment, but having done it I'm glad I did it now as once your voice starts to become weak it would be quite difficult to do.
I thought I would just share my experience in case there are people out there wondering whether to do it or not.
Who believes in coincidence? Richard was the speech and language therapist who did some fine work with my son in a rehab hospital in London ten years ago following my son being involved in a serious road accident. Hadn't spoken to him in ten years but he remembered our son. Lovely man.
