I have a problem with a delivery from Currys and you can only phone it seems. My voice is so bad that the person I finally got to talk to must have thought I was a prank call and put the phone down. It's no wonder so many of us take the easy way out init? 😞

Have you got a speech app that you could use on the call Mathew? Otherwise have you a friend that can ring them up for you to explain your problem and get Currys to ring you asking permission to speak with your friend. You’d only have to say ‘yes’ and maybe do security questions. If a friend has explained then they ought be patient. Good luck, Lynne

How frustrating and upsetting for you Matthew,

It's the things we used to do without thinking that really get to us when we cant do them. A thoughtless or insensitive word from someone can really set me off !

I think you can get a speech app for the phone so maybe your OT or SALT can help you. I really hope you are still getting the support you need during this lockdown.
