Yes, in general the cold makes our muscles have a higher tone, which gives them some strength from their rigidity - a bit of a Brucie Bonus from having unbendable legs

I have come to measure the days heat with my feet. Throughout the winter they were painful icicles but with the reasent warm weather I have not used my micro wave slippers for days! I guess next winter it will be more than my feet! Love you all x

Hi it’s weird as the cold makes me feel worse, I get stiff. The warmth makes me feel better but the extreme heat exhausts me and I need cold air. I am also menopausal which doesn’t help matters x

    Hello Cocoa
Heat is definitely affecting my MND, I invested in a Dyson Airflow fan, it makes the air feel not so stuffy, it’s working a treat for me and keeping all blinds and windows closed, hope you find something that works for you xxx

Hi Cocoa and a warm welcome to the Forum.

Yep! The heat absoluely wipes me out and makes me weaker - just drains me completely, making everything seem more difficult I managed about 10mins outside today before admitting defeat, came indoors and opened windows and doors to try and get a cross draught

We have to keep hydrated too - dehydration can happen quickly.

    Roll on autumn...

    Take care, stay safe.

    Love Ellie.
