    Care support

My wife returns to work next week. Social services have arranged a care plan for me. A carrer comes in the morning to heat up some milk for my weetabix. Another comes in at lunchtime to heat up some soup. We had a phone call this morning it's going to cost £117 per week!! But means tested and i cant see it reducing much as i'm on a teachers pension and PIP. I might starting use my PEG and feed myself? Any thoughts or experiences of this?

  • The quickest route is to get a DS1500 off your GP and then apply for CHC/DP. MND doesn't improve, yet, that is.

Hi, I have a DS1500 and get a lot of money for it plus I have a PEG and I'm extremely happy with it! x
