When my mum was diagnosed with dementia, I never forget the lovely consultant said, "do you want to waste your energy and time doing a job at 50% using 110% of your energy." She became a campaigner and advocate, learned some new skills and made new friends in the dementia world Thomas worked for himself and we took a year off to we got to the bottom of his health, (not a great idea re:money) but just got PIP award. I am thinking it as early retirement, if we can get by on the money. If you enjoy work that it different, if it give you purpose and they are supportive. I would try part time and not make hasty decisions, go with your gut feeling. I as a wife want to spend time with my husband, looking to move to Wales to be nearer relatives and get somewhere with no stairs. Good luck whatever you decide.

Dee I hope the people around you realise what they have. If I've learnt anything it is that you really don't appreciate anything until it's gone xx
