Is your employer fully aware of your health and is the workplace a safe environment? Matthew if you want to fulfill your day then as Denise says the social interaction may help. Another point to consider is if you are claiming benefits then how will a return to work impact. I wasn’t aware that my employer had critical illness insurance so it was a pleasant surprise to receive part of my wages when I retired early. Like you I missed the people I worked with and it took me several months to get over that but whilst you remain mobile you eventually find a different circle of friends.

If you do decide to return to work then remember to ask for overtime since you don’t need a lunch break (peg) lol.

    Best wishes,
    Barry

That's part of the problem I don't need the money. Damn the pandemic 😄x

Can you go part time? Meeting people and getting out lifts the spirits and keeps you active. I think only you can decide. If you dislike it and it makes you depressed then obviously no. Guess the wage would be handy.

I have been on Furlough for ages and now my work wants me back. While I have missed the people I haven't missed the job so do I go back or do I spend spend my remaining time enjoying myself? 🤔x
