My consultant told me I had a clever trick the other days so I thought I'd share. If I wake up with dry mouth then I turn on my side or tummy and saliva drains back after 5-10 mins. My physio told me lying on tummy gets more air into lungs, but sometimes I'm breathless when I roll back over. He recommended a hand held fan and deep breathing as our faces aborb the air from fans.

Thanks for sharing this tip Rachel. I have found it work for me if I turn on my side but I have never been able to lie on my stomach as my neck hurts.
I’m going to do this even if it kills me!

From your experience Matthew I would say it's the way to go. I wonder how many hospitals can provide this treatment?

But it's only partially permanent. I still produce real saliva just much less. I had the same objection at first. 👍x
