I’m in Bridgend Who lives in Wales

Hello everyone... I hope you are all doing ok and are able to keep a positive mind. I have been trying to connect with other MND sufferers and feel relieved that I have been able to negotiate this forum. I’m so pleased to read lots of honest and light hearted banter here. It is refreshing to read about topics which I am interested in and I am experiencing. I moved to Bridgend, South Wales in February this year prior to my diagnosis. I am pleased we moved when we did... Is there anyone on the forum from Wales?

I have the ability to cope with this and I can still be the best person I can be. This is my life - if I am happy others around me are happy too

Oh my days, I saw you had posted @3am an thought you must be in the US, but you're in Wales!!

I think there are some members who live in Wales, hopefully they'll logon soon.

You are midway between the local MNDA Branches (SW Wales & Cardiff) - have you checked them out?

      Love Ellie.
I think Wales is in a different time zone to the rest of the UK. Only joking.

Two of our best friends live in Wales and speak Welsh as their first language. I've been learning Welsh on Duolingo for 185 consecutive days. Great fun and really addictive. God only knows why I'm learning another language at the same time as losing the ability to speak. It's a distraction though.
Each day is made easier with a bit of humour.

There you go you will have to learn welsh! Ive tried learning Portuguese but im useless. I find it easier if its written down but find when its spoken i cant hear the words.
we used to live in clevedon just across the channel and loved to visit Wales. It's very beautiful. Though I do recall 2 weeks holiday in a tent and it rained everyday. 😃
when i can think of something profound i will update this.

              Hello Anita
You don’t live far from me at all. Thank you for your message
I’d love to be an Association Visitor with the MNDA I’d love to make visits. How did you start being an Association Visitor?
I have been in contact with the MND Association and have been on two virtual coffee mornings where no one, except the organisers, Carol, Maimie and another joined. If you are free could you attend the next one....
I’m pleased to have contact with you and I wish you all the very best
              Jeanette
