    After you leave.

My daughter is an entry in a book, my mother is a patch of grass and my father is a tiny headstone identical to those that surround it, they were all cremated. My third wife's Grandmother is a grave that is tended and loved. Now no one is going to tend my grave yet I have decided that I will be buried. We may be gone but what we leave behind does matter.

    Hi Matthew,

Speaking of what we leave behind, have you considered donating your brain and spinal cord to MND research? A few of our members, including myself have done this. If you are interested then speak to the team at your clinic.

I’m going to do this even if it kills me!

Your wall art may well be the next Banksy - preserved in its glory for decades

Nice one Barry. Thanks for bringing up the topic again, the more people who know about it, the better.

          Love Ellie.

I guess you mean your wall art not your patch of earth! Ok that wasn't really funny. Can you choose a spot or decide which cemetery? All my family have been cremated I don't know what happens with regard to burial. What about grave up keep?

Don't think you're going to escape that easily young Matthew! Particularly if you are careless enough to leave your DNA lying around. In a few hundred years you will be reconstituted from your DNA and be enlisted to fight the 'Battle of the Milky Way'. It will be humanities defining moment.

The problem I have with the here after is just how many people have died since humans began. It must be pretty crowded? 🤔

My wife has always said that she is being reincarnated as a seagull so she can spend all day eating ice-cream and chips and dumping on everyone from above.
Each day is made easier with a bit of humour.

The thought of having to do it all again IS frightening 😊
