My daughter is an entry in a book, my mother is a patch of grass and my father is a tiny headstone identical to those that surround it, they were all cremated. My third wife's Grandmother is a grave that is tended and loved. Now no one is going to tend my grave yet I have decided that I will be buried. We may be gone but what we leave behind does matter.

I guess you mean your wall art not your patch of earth! Ok that wasn't really funny. Can you choose a spot or decide which cemetery? All my family have been cremated I don't know what happens with regard to burial. What about grave up keep?

Don't think you're going to escape that easily young Matthew! Particularly if you are careless enough to leave your DNA lying around. In a few hundred years you will be reconstituted from your DNA and be enlisted to fight the 'Battle of the Milky Way'. It will be humanities defining moment.Comment
