    Could have, should have

Twenty years ago I went clay pigeon shooting for the first and only time. At the end of the day the ghillie told me that I had missed my vocation. Olympic Gold or famous sniper? Sadly not. Is there anything you think you might have done if life had let you?

    Hi Matthew,

I wish I had learned to play a musical instrument. I am always in awe of talented artists and I donโ€™t mean the ones who appear on reality tv programs.

I did my parachute training in Peterborough. I jumped but only once. I would have liked to have learned how to fly. I wish I'd learned to play the piano.
when i can think of something profound i will update this.

Me too, Barry. I've spent a lifetime envious of people who could play music. I even built myself a synthesiser in the eighties when I was really into electronic music. Never managed to play anything worthwhile on it though. I've also attempted guitar, ukelele, bodhran, penny whistle and bones. Couldn't play any of them to anything other than a very basic level ๐Ÿ™„.
I could open a small music shop though ๐Ÿ˜.

matthew55 I loved my one and only clay pigeon shoot, years ago on a corporate team building day.

Like you Sue I loved to go diving in the Red Sea and we have been going every year for the past 12 years. Alas my diving days are over as I found I was panicking about my ability to breathe properly. We managed to get to Egypt just before lockdown this year and I donโ€™t expect the country will be back on the travel list soon.

I was a fantastic golfer and had the opportunity to play in a huge tournament once I declined the opportunity because of working on the railways which also takes over your life like MND. Bloody gutted ๐Ÿ˜ข

I used to love playing golf but sadly my handicap was my swing. ๐Ÿ˜„
