    Food differently

I can still swallow so I make soups out of almost anything with my blender. Best so far include macaroni cheese, french onion soup and stewed steak. Life doesn't have to be boring. πŸ˜‰πŸ˜€x

Got to love Asda as their chunky chicken pie filling blended with a can of water tastes just like the dark meat of a roasted chicken. πŸ‘

Wow Mathew, sounds lovely. I’ll tell my husband about what you do with your blender so he gets tips for when I can’t chew much. That’ll be better than any proprietary smooth food that any nhs or other service would provide. Lynne

Fair play for your inventiveness Matthew - the texture of blended foods makes me gag, unfortunately, and I can't get past it!

I'm sorry to hear that Ellie, I was going to say try the French Onion with a little dash of Brandy, it's heaven. πŸ˜€x

I think Matthew should enter masterchef!
I’m going to do this even if it kills me!

I was actually a decent cook but since being single I haven't bothered. Thanks for the compliment though. πŸ‘

You don't have to stop because you are single. Have to say your food ideas sound great. Would you use a cup rather than a bowl? I'm feeling hungry and I've just had a big bowl of porridge. 😜

I don't want to spoil your appetite but my lips have almost disappeared, my teeth have moved and my tounge doesn't work. Cups and mugs are part of my past. 😞

So how big is the dash of brandy? That paints a lovely picture. What's today's recipe? πŸ˜‹

I just made beans with blackpudding. Also chicken burgers but I think chicken is debatable as it was more like polystyrene 😦
