    Steering Wheel Knobs

    Hi All
Has anyone had a steering wheel knob fitted and, if so, which one?
I have no problem driving apart that is from close manoeuvring. When making a 3 point turn, or similar, my right arm weakness shows itself. A steering wheel knob for my left arm would overcome this. Amazon seem to have plenty.

    Hi Tony

when I switched from a car to a WAV I had hand controls fitted since I was losing control of my feet. The controls fitted by motability were Jeff Gosling ones. I had to steer using the steering wheel knob all of the time as my right hand was operating the accelerator/brake. Driving using just my hands became really easy and second nature. Sadly, I’m no longer able to drive.

Driverless cars would be useful for some of us right now.

Hi Tan. I had my hand controls and steering knob fitted by Cowal Mobility. A Google search will find them. They are excellent.
