Hi Elvisfan. I have Bulbar Onset, and had the flu jab, as recommended. I was fine afterwards. It was quick and easy and no after effects 😊

I've had one! Our great GP came to the house to do my and my husband so we did not have to go to the surgery.

I had a headache and slight temperature two days later but nothing like as bad as flu so its worth it.

          Love Debbie x

Elvisfan I don't know if it makes a difference, but I think there are different vaccines for under and over 65yo?

I got the under 65yo jab, no side effects at all - I have significant bulbar impairment.

            Love Ellie.
Diagnosed 03/2007. Sporadic Definite ALS/MND Spinal (hand) Onset.
Eye gaze user - No functional limbs - No speech - Feeding tube - Overnight NIV.

Hi there, I had the flu jab, I’m under 65, and I had no problem at all.

Had mine in September. Never had any side-effects, other than a slightly sore arm. I have COPD so can't afford to get flu.
